Trauma Healing & OCD Therapy in Texas, Colorado & Washington

A therapist collective dedicated to transformational, evidence-based healing approaches.

A Relational & Evidence Based Approach

At Unfolding Collective, we believe that all behavior makes sense when understood within its context.

You are not a collection of symptoms to be managed; you are a whole person shaped by your relationships, your environment, and your history. Our practice combines the grounded science of Interpersonal Neurobiology with a deep commitment to Social Work values, ensuring that your therapy is as compassionate as it is clinically effective.

We specialize in transformational, brain-wise therapies—like EMDR, IFS, and I-CBT—that go beyond surface-level coping skills. By understanding the "why" behind your patterns and honoring the parts of you that have worked so hard to survive, we help you rewire your responses and reclaim your agency. Whether you are navigating individual trauma or relational disconnection, we are here to walk alongside you as you unfold into a life of greater clarity, steadiness, and connection.

Our Services

Individual Therapy

Healing for the internal landscape.

We provide specialized, trauma-informed care for adults navigating the weight of the past and the pressures of the present. Whether you are seeking to break free from OCD doubt loops, process complex trauma, or navigate spiritual deconstruction, we offer a steady space to move from "survival mode" into a life of clarity and resilience.

Relational Therapy

Repairing connection from the inside out. Relationships are our most powerful environment for healing, but they can also be our greatest source of stress. Using the Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) framework, we help couples move beyond repetitive conflict and "survival mode" communication. Together, we work to build deep, secure connections and lasting intimacy through the "middle years" of life and parenting.

Therapy Intensives

Accelerated healing for deep-seated patterns. Standard weekly therapy is powerful, but some seasons require a deeper dive. Our intensives offer an accelerated format for processing trauma or relational hurdles in a condensed timeframe. By dedicating several hours or days to your healing, we can bypass the "start-stop" of weekly sessions and make significant clinical progress more quickly.

Specialized, Evidence-Based Tools

    EMDR Therapy

A brain-based approach designed to help you process and integrate traumatic memories. By using bilateral stimulation, we help your brain’s natural healing process move "stuck" experiences into the past, reducing their emotional charge in the present.

  • abstract line drawing of 3 ovals in a circle, representing different parts in one system

    Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

A transformative model that views the mind as a system of "parts." We work to understand the protective roles your symptoms play, helping you move from self-criticism to a state of "Self-leadership" characterized by compassion and clarity.

    I-CBT for OCD

Unlike traditional exposure therapy, Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) focuses on the obsessional sequence that triggers OCD. We help you recognize the bridge between reality and the "OCD bubble" to reclaim your trust in your senses.

    IFIO Therapy

Intimacy From the Inside Out applies the IFS model to relationships of all kinds. We help people identify their internal "cues" and protective cycles, moving conversations away from blame and toward deep, courageous connection.

    An Integrative Approach

We weave together the science of the brain with the heart of social work. By understanding how your nervous system and environment interact, we create a specialized path for healing that honors both your biology and your lived experience.

We believe that therapy works best when there is a deep, resonant fit between therapist and client. We don’t just treat symptoms; we partner with people who are ready to explore the deeper context of their lives and move toward a more integrated way of being. We may be a good fit if you resonate with any of these experiences:

    The "High-Functioning" Professional

You’re successful and reliable on the outside, but internally you feel depleted, anxious, or plagued by a persistent inner critic that won’t let you rest.

    The Survivor of Complex Trauma

You recognize that your past is showing up in your present. You’re looking for more than "talk therapy"—you want brain-wise tools like EMDR and IFS to help your nervous system finally feel safe.

  • abstract line swirling and pointing up

    The Doubt-Driven Mind (OCD)

You feel trapped in loops of "what if" and uncertainty. You’re looking for a specialized approach like I-CBT that helps you trust your senses again instead of just managing the anxiety.

  • a partial crescent moon with sprouts coming out of the end

    The Deconstructing Soul

You are navigating a shift in your faith, identity, or worldview. You need a space that honors the complexity of spiritual transitions without judgment or a pre-set agenda.

  • two circles intersecting with plant growth in the middle

    The Relational Seeker

Whether as an individual or a couple, you want to stop the repetitive cycles of conflict. You’re ready to look at the "parts" of you that react in relationships and build a foundation of secure, courageous connection.

  • three rainbow shaped line drawings overlapping

    The Intentional Parent

You want to break generational cycles and show up for your children with presence, but you find your own history often getting in the way.

your journey of unfolding begins here

Healing is rarely a straight line; it is a gradual returning to who you have always been. Whether you are navigating the complexities of trauma, the loops of OCD, or the shifting ground of a relationship, you don't have to navigate it alone. We provide a steady, clinical space where your story is honored and your nervous system is understood.

When you are ready, we offer a free consultation to help you find the right fit and begin the process of moving from survival toward connection.
